DJ Damian (Big Bopper)

Damian started DJing as a hobby back in 1997 and has never looked back since. In the early days, like so many youngsters, aspiring to be DJ’s, with no experience or training available, he honed his skills by trial and error. After a couple of years working with and for Soundwave Entertainment, Damian split off from the company leaving him to perfect his talents, build a reputation and turn his hobby into a full time occupation.

In 2009 Damian started Big Bopper Entertainment to pass on his knowledge and do what he does best “make people enjoy themselves”. Damian believes in the personal approach to any potential booking and will arrange site visits or personal visits, so you know the person your getting before your big event.

In 2010 Damian hit the top spot in Kettering at Wicksteed Park as the host / compere and resident Dj. 12 years later and he still fills the pavilion dancefloor and coordinates the Live Nights.

In 2014 Damian headed up the campaign to make the company better and more professional and was proud to collect the award on behalf of the team for the “Best Wedding Disco Service in the World” (voted by Wedding Expert Industry). and also winning the UK based award in 2015. Following from this saw him headline the Christmas Dancefloor Filler show on Kettering Connect FM..

In 2020 we opened the offices and Ben (Little Bopper) joined the team. Looking after the sales and marketing side of the company .. and heading up the wedding fairs. 

Still today Damian leads from the front and only uses the best on the trade…

DJ Ross

Ross joined up the team as one of our youth apprentices at the age of 14 and stayed with us till he was 17, when he left to set up on his own..  Ross ran his company for 2 years gaining the experience of working solo and building confedience to deal with all types of events and functions.  Ross rejoined the team at the age of 19 and went straight into the frontline team.  Now Ross is a very sort after DJ and hosts over 100 events per year.  

DJ Shaun

Shaun joined the team in 2011 with a mobile disco background…. With knowledge and constantly updating his skills, Shaun can put his mind to all different types of event, From kids parties to weddings, from birthday parties to corporate events.

Shaun also has excellent knowledge of the planning and coordinating of events..
